eLife Extends Collaboration with Kriyadocs to Strengthen Publishing Workflows

9 December 2025 - Kriyadocs is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with eLife, further strengthening a trusted, long-standing collaboration that advances transparent and efficient scholarly publishing.

eLife is a nonprofit organisation that publishes cutting-edge research in the life and biomedical sciences. Its mission is to help scientists accelerate discovery by operating a platform for research communication that encourages and recognises the most responsible behaviours in science. eLife has been a pioneer in the publishing industry by championing open access, promoting transparency and innovation in the publishing process that has the potential to shape the future of science and medicine.

The renewed agreement builds on 9 years of close collaboration in which eLife has worked with Kriyadocs to optimise production workflows and deliver excellent experiences for its authors and readers.

Over their partnership, Kriyadocs has continued to evolve its platform in ways that support eLife’s goals. This includes offering an intuitive proofing experience that helps authors review and approve their proofs efficiently. We have also implemented workflows that facilitate the publication of review outputs (such as eLife Assessments and peer reviews), and lay summaries (eLife digests), as well as enabling the archival and FAIR dissemination of data and code through structured formats and availability statements. Automated workflows have helped shorten publication timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
