Shehnaz Ahmed to Chair Publisherspeak UK 2026 on 18 May

30 March 2026 — Kriyadocs is pleased to announce that Shehnaz Ahmed will serve as the Conference Chair for Publisherspeak UK 2026, taking place on 18 May in London.

Publisherspeak UK is an in-person, unconference-style event that brings together professionals from across the scholarly publishing ecosystem to engage in open, collaborative discussions on the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry. The 2026 edition will build on this approach by focusing on the theme of AI governance in scholarly publishing, with particular emphasis on how organisations are navigating decision-making and responsibility in an increasingly complex, technology-driven landscape.

The programme will be guided by Shehnaz Ahmed, Director of Research and Publishing at the British Association of Dermatologists and one of the co-chairs of the AI working party group for ALPSP, who will serve as Conference Chair. In this role, Shehnaz will help shape the overall direction of the event, fostering discussions that reflect the evolving needs of publishers, researchers, and the broader scholarly community.
